Summary | The Spanish DPA (AEPD) imposed a fine of EUR 1,000 on a private individual for the unauthorized installation of a video surveillance camera on their car. The car had been parked on a public street, and therefore the camera was also recording public space. The AEPD found that video surveillance of public space represented a violation of the principle of data minimization. |
